Rebeca
I am from Guatemala and have been a Spanish teacher since 1997. I have a degree as a primary education teacher, but also have a diploma as a dressmaker. I have completed five years of law school at the University of San Carlos in Guatemala and have pending exams to obtain my license to be a lawyer.
I have knowledge about education, literature, politics, sociology, culture, history, criminal law, labor law, civil law, notary law, etc. I have worked with students in their preparation to pass the SIELE exam. I have collaborated in the review of documents from English to Spanish on medicine, health research and studies, and other programs.
I have worked with psychologists, language interpreters, sign language interpreters, scientists, lawyers, etc. I love my job and enjoy making videos with my colegas on our YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ProntoSpanishTutors
I also speak a little bit of English! My students describe me as being responsible, flexible, creative and patient.
Let me help you achieve success in your goal to improve your Spanish.

Hello! I'm Rebeca Gonzalez de Lowe. I'm from Guatemala. I'm a Spanish teacher. I've been a Spanish teacher for over twenty-five years. I've worked with children, teenagers, and adults. I've worked with different professionals. I like teaching Spanish because it's an interesting language. For some people, Spanish is also complex, and that's why studying Spanish is a challenge. Today I'm at the San Agustín Ruins (the Convent of San Agustín). This convent is in Antigua Guatemala. It's one of the convents you can visit if you travel to Guatemala. Welcome to Pronto Spanish Tutors. See you soon!
Teaching Style
My teaching is flexible because each student is different. I can tailor your lesson by having a conversation on social life, travel, health, politics, or any topic you desire. If you prefer, you can learn Spanish by reading stories and articles in your new language. This will allow you to improve your grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. How would you like to learn this wonderful language?
You can make suggestions or follow my lead. We can find a way to make your lessons a learning adventure. If you want homework, I can produce custom lessons and translation exercises, We can also practice real-world interactions with audio and video on different topics.
I have worked with people of all ages and levels, from beginners through intermediate to the advanced level. I teach Spanish for travelers and professionals, such as teachers, engineers, economists, interpreters, and doctors. I can also tailor the lesson content to your profession. My English is near the intermediate level.
